Raised by immigrant parents, I have always been interested in balance and harmony between opposing concepts. Through thought and consideration, there is always an opportunity for intermixing cultures, ideologies and ideas. Design has the potential to guide and persuade individuals to understand better and appreciate the wealth of knowledge from multiple sources. Many of the complications in society are constructed through miscommunication or flawed beliefs and thoughts. Therefore, there is an opportunity to improve and repair past difficulties through thought provocation, comprehension and compassion. I care about making a positive impact that extends for generations and imagine a positive future designed for acceptance and cooperation between all ecological structures. Through my multi-disciplinary studies, I have learnt and understood the application and importance of empathy, design principles and information. My undergraduate degree is in psychology and health, and my current expertise is in graphic design and photography. However, I believe in more than just visual design or psychological components. I thrive in collaborative work and appreciate the depth of knowledge each individual brings. My general life philosophy aligns with Stoicism, and I combine that in my designs, creating aesthetically provocative pieces.
